Fantastic experience: Tom saved our trip to Italy scheduled for September ... In May he had helped us arrange flyghts using RBC's Avion points.. he personally dealt with the Avion and successfully navigated the purchase of flyghts for both my companion and I Recently we experienced a bureaucratic issue which placed our trip in jeopardy. Tom suggested an innovative approach demonstrating his flexibility in overcoming trip threatening issues and immediately successfully put it into play.. Hats off to Tom. He saved the trip .... a great service provider

Fantastic experience: We booked our flight via this agency for Dec 2023, I must say that we received phenomenal customer service, especially from Mr. Tom! Our initial flight (first part of connection flight) got rescheduled multiple times to a different route with additional time delay on the date of travel, and upon our request, without any hesitation, the agency fixed our concern by reissuing an alternate route without additional expenses involved from our side which saved us time and money during that difficult situation. Secondly, when we faced additional issues at the check in counter for other reasons involving the tickets, this amazing agency was very prompt in responding and assisting in resolving such unprecedented circumstances during travel, which we appreciate so so much. would 100% recommend them! Negative experience: This is my second time visiting this office. The first time I was given great information and left feeling optimistic about my travel options. Today when I stopped in I was clearly inconveniencing the staff. I was met with abrupt and irritated answers. Not impressive customer service to say the least. I will not be returning.

Fantastic experience: Throughout the years, I have always consulted United Travels for their superior knowledge and professionalism when booking all of my travel. For this reason, I knew exactly who to refer my friend to when she had an emergency in her home country and had to return immediately. My friend bought a ticket in her home country, the Philippines, to attend school in Nova Scotia with a return date scheduled for December. Due to an illness in her family she had to change her ticket to fly home as soon as possible. She contacted the airline and was given the option of paying $1200.00 dollars to get her out in a few days time. After hearing her dilemma, I instructed her to call Tom and his staff at United Travels. Even though I had never experienced any major difficulties during my travels, the folks at United Travels have always gone above and beyond to ensure I had a stress-free travel experience. She called United Travels on Saturday and explained her situation to Tom. Even though her ticket was not booked with United Travels, Tom, ever empathetic, committed to helping her through this difficult and expensive process. After 2 ½ hours of phone calls back and forth between the client and the airline, Tom was able to confirm her a seat leaving the following morning for half the price she was quoted by her ticketed airline. I have always known the awesome and sometimes miraculous abilities of Tom and his staff at United Travels. In this particular case they have once again proven their total commitment to their trade.

Negative experience: I had a bad experience with this travel agency, they did not explain my refund /cancellation policy to me, and i got charged way more then i should!

Fantastic experience: I have dealt with United Travel for about 22 years.. I find Tom the CEO to be the most helpful and accommodating person ever! Each time we have asked for travel plans he has secured seats where none should have been available and at the best rates.. An emergency flight to assist a sick child.. was secured an within a short time of the request. I was on my way.. Odd things requested, and stop overs, and all that... were arranged for us and at a minimum of cost.. He goes out of his way to assist.. and what a memory.. hadn't seen him nor spoken to him for 10 years called and l;eft just my name , new phone number etc...and he called back calling me by a "nick-name" we had.. and recalled all our conversations etc..Walking past his office and looked in, to be instantly recognized and greeted warmly after this 10 year absence.. gives one a warm feeling! This guy is phenomenal!!!.
