Positive experience: Following my initial disappointment, I was pleasantly surprised when CAA’s manager reached out personally to address my concerns. They genuinely listened to the feedback, acknowledged the oversight, and offered to have the photographs retaken to meet the specific standards I needed. This gesture of accountability is greatly appreciated and has certainly improved my perception of their service. It’s reassuring to see a business take proactive steps to ensure customer satisfaction, and I commend CAA for this effort.

Fantastic experience: I was pleasantly surprised CAA offered passport photo services. As a CAA member I was eligible to get one set of passport photo for free and if I required another set of passport photos it was $9.95. After confirming this information over the phone, I was able to simply walk in and get a set of passport photos for my daughter. The staff are so friendly, knowledgeable and were great with kids. Thank you for the wonderful experience!

Negative experience: I am from central Ontario where I’ve been a CAA member since 2006, my trailer recently broke down in stittsville Ontario within my km Limit (Within Ontario)CAA North and East Ontario Refuse to honour my membership and claim they have a policy in their area that prevents them from providing assistance to my type of 16’ trailer.. I’ve contacted CAA central Ontario and they also left me abandoned and told Me I have to hire a third party tow company and that they will NOT provide the service I paid for that is clearly stated Premier RV 1-320km tow ANYWHERE IN CANADA this Is a fraudulent.

Negative experience: The office didn't appear particularly busy, I was only person waiting. I gave up, waiting, after 15 minutes and decided to leave.

Negative experience: The Insurance agent Glen is not interested at all in selling policies. Looking at the reviews it looks like he has similar behaviour with other customers as well. He seems completely uninterested doing his job or not want to actually present other options. Otherwise, this location is great, I've been here multiple times for the photos and no issues with anyone they went above and beyond.

Negative experience: I recently had an appointment with a CAA auto insurance agent in Stittsville, Ottawa. Unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. The agent selectively terminated our appointment once he discovered a fault on our driving record. As a certified insurance agent, I expected him to discuss alternative options or provide guidance on how to proceed despite the issue. However, he failed to do so. In summary, I found the agent’s behavior unprofessional and lacking in customer service. I would caution others considering CAA for their auto insurance needs to be aware of such practices.

Negative experience: Unpleasant people that work there and stupid prices, plus I walked in to talk to a agent and grabbed the chair to sit down and he told to not sit and tell him what I want before and the entire time he had an attitude, plus he quit literally said “ stay with your insurance we won’t accept you “ what a joke of an insurance stay away from them

Fantastic experience: Great customer service here. Get discount tickets to tourist attractions. Free maps with a membership too. Travel agents seem knowledgeable. Good prices on travel accessories.

Fantastic experience: Very clean and with helpful staff. Needed an international driving permit which took only 15 mins when we got to see staff. There were only 3 staff there while an additional 7+ desks empty, so looks like haven't gotten back to full operations after the pandemic.

Negative experience: Seems like a waste of an office. No one there seems to want to help people. Do not recommend for travel uses. After being told they can't help with planning a destination group wedding we called Clyde and got help. Only good for passport pictures(if your a member)

Fantastic experience: Excellent service

Negative experience: Went to the CAA office in Stittsville. Office had one customer and myself and there was multiple staff with no customers . I was then told that they couldn’t help me in planning a trip out east. Instead I was offered a paper map and told to call the 1 800 number. Been a mbr for years, it was the first time that I was looking at other CAA programs and was left disappointed with the lack of customer service and assistance considering the office was basically empty.

Negative experience: Made the mistake of asking for an auto and home insurance quote. The agent is obviously not interested in new business. CAA's loss, there are lots of companies out there. It's no wonder people get their insurance online rather than having to try to deal with an agent such as this one.

Negative experience: A joke

Positive experience: Had to wait more than 20 minutes just to pick up some maps that had been set aside. The earlier email exchange with an agent was fine but they need more agents (they did post a sign indicating they were hiring). They used to have a front desk with an agent to deal with walkin requests, such as maps.

Fantastic experience: We went there to get passport photos. The wait was short and the service was super warm and friendly. I wish I had the name of the woman who served us. She was the best! She definitely made me want to go back.

Negative experience: horrific experience. i called at 12am, told them what car i have. around 2 they sent the wrong tow truck. the one i needed they had only one available. they told me that they don't know when they are coming so I have to hide the key in the car if i cannot wait in cold. currently -15. they offered me to call another tow truck - yet i pay membership here- pay another company and open a claim which they did not want to confirm it will be reimbursed. this company IS A JOKE !

Fantastic experience: CAA provided road side assistance promptly When my van broke down in the middle of queens way and I was stranded with little children. I was driving a very old Nissan van. I asked them a few questions last week about dates etc and they returned my call promptly. Efficiency and promptness by businesses definitely goes a long way and makes our life easier, enjoyable.

Fantastic experience: Went in to get an auto insurance quote and was helped by Glen. He is such a great guy and helped me out alot. After moving auto insurance to CAA I am saving over 500 bucks a year and getting better coverage. I also move my home insurance over too, was a bit more but there is way more protection. If your insurance is up soon, stop in and I'm sure if you have a clean driving record you will get an amazing price.

Negative experience: Went into get an international driver's license. I stood waiting to get someone to assist me. Everyone working there and nobody interested in getting up off the chair to assist, yet they were not doing anything. Two girls talking and they stopped for a minute, looked up and then went right back to talking. When they notice that I had waited long enough and was going to leave they asked if they could help. Too little too late, lost a membership and an international driver license.

Negative experience: I called like 19 times it's always set on answering machine but I also went through directory for CAA insurance and it appears the same across Ontario I don't know if they're open or closed

Negative experience: Went in this afternoon to get some info on a cruise I am thinking of taking. No one but me in the store and two reps on duty. Was told to wait....okay...then was told they only go by appointments. Told to make an appt and come back with my passport....not likely! Couldn't even be bothered to spend 5 minutes with me. Will take my business elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: Pros all the way

Negative experience: I had an appointment there to get insurance. I got an email cancelling the appointment, not a text or phone call. I was told to call the Sittsville and make another one. The first time I called, I sat on hold for 35 minutes before I hung up in disgust. I called later and this time I got someone's voicemail. I didn't get a call back for hours. By this time, I 'd contacted a broker and made other arrangements. Compaired to AAA in the States or BCAA back in BC, I have received nothing but lousy service from CAA, both in Ottawa and Winnipeg.

Positive experience: We needed to add to our travel insurance, they returned our call right away and helped us out

Negative experience: These guys dont even deserve 1 star. If i could rate them -1 i would. I would strongly recommend never using their service. I have NEVER received such terrible service from a company before. Stay far far far away as these guys like to damage your vehicle and then ignore all your calls like the unprofessional children they are even when you have video proof of the damage being done. Which i will be posting to social media. I’m now out thousands of dollars from the damage their tow truck driver did to my jeep. Again STAY AWAY!! These guys are an absolute JOKE.

Negative experience: Terrible Service. I want to give you zero star. During waiting for 20 minutes, nobody doesn’t care about waiting people. One gentleman agent served someone who came into next me. One young lady agent resting her chin up just stared computer. Ruined my time.
