Ixtapa Travel

Fantastic experience: We booked a big group trip (+20) for Mexico back in April 2021 with Tamara. At the time it felt like things might be easy by 2022 but that of course wasn't the case. Throughout the entire process Tamara was always in contact with us, fielding questions about covid, insurance, changes to our group, etc. With the different waves and plan changes we talked way more than I'm sure both sides thought we would when we booked and she never hesitated to jump on a call with me or send a detailed email back to answer questions. She even had a baby around Christmas time and was still taking our calls and emails as we got closer to the trip! I know if I was organizing this without her help it would've been a massive headache with all the chaos between April and Feb. For any group trips in the future I wouldn't hesitate for a second to go through her again!

Fantastic experience: I have been on several trips organized by Ixtapa and they make it so easy. Sure, I could book trips myself but to have their expertise and to travel with locals makes the trip experience so much better. If there were any glitches in plans, they were quick to fix or find a solution for their clients. Their wealth of knowledge and travel experience encourage me to trust them and not lose any sleep over details.

Fantastic experience: We haven't used a Travel Agent in years but decided to stop into Ixtapa Travel for some advice on our trip. We worked with Mira and she answered our questions never pushing for us to book through her. We did end up letting Mira book our entire trip. Changes were made along the way and never once felt like it was too much work for her to make these changes. She was great and will use Ixtapa Travel and Mira if the need ever arises. Great work Mira!

Fantastic experience: I practically ghosted my travel agent Rebecca several times after many attempts at booking a vacation fell through (not her fault at all, but my own work situation). She was never less than completely gracious in doing 99% of the legwork in finding and suggesting options that would fit my time, budget, and personal preference limitations, at no charge to me at all. I was finally able to book a trip this year which I am incredibly excited for! She took care of everything and charged zilch for her efforts which kind of blows my mind honestly. Would definitely recommend her instead of spending however-many hours it would take you to do it yourself online, for more money! You guys rock!!
