Royal Heights Tours is small, family built, “boutique” tour company based in Victoria BC Canada. During our 23+ years of operations we have escorted over 200 tours to 60+ countries. We limit our group size to 16 people and have MANY repeat travelers. For us, this becomes like travelling with family and friends and we love what we do. We take your ‘trip of a lifetime’ seriously and strive to give you the best possible travel experience.

We design our tours to maximize your time in each country so we can explore the sights that make that country unique. Wherever possible, we slow the pace and stay 2 or 3 nights in the same location- we love to stay in small “character” hotels close to the centre of town. Our tours are designed by company president Norman Bruce and most are led by Norman and Julie together, along with the knowledge and experience from our expert [and amazing!] local guides.

Positive experience: A great little tour company that is based out of Victoria. I have traveled with them to Greece, Cuba, Bolivia, Peru, Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands. They take small groups from 12 up to about 16 on their tours so they are more personalized. I would highly recommend them!

Fantastic experience: Hi There, Wasn't on this exact tour however we did travel with Royal Heights Tours on their previous Vietnam soiree. We both thoroughly enjoyed the journey. FEET UP is not their mantra for sure! One needs to be somewhat of an adventurer and a serious traveler in order to appreciate what goes into making this particular trip a learning experience. A line you probably heard on the journey "sleep when you get home" is certainly apropos. Working hard in life so you can appreciate the spoils later is the mantra that Royal Heights Tours lives by. The words 'you get what you pay for' is certainly exemplified when travelling with this tour company. Not sure what Don was expecting (SEE BELOW) but it is very evident that his travels have been limited at best. We continue to highly recommend Royal Heights Tours! In fact, we recently traveled to India with them and 11 of the 24 people on the journey were people we recommended. Cheers!

Fantastic experience: I loved the "death march" as called by one of my fellow travellers. Busy & tiring, absolutely, but I didn't go all that way for a rest. Went to see, do & experience. Sure met my expectations including the bare back elephant ride across the river!
