Negative experience: My experience with Travel Far was interesting. I should have known better so I need to start with, I OWN THIS. However, a travel agent is like an auto mechanic or doctor. You need to have trust. I sought a travel agent because I was too busy with work to book flights to Quito, Ecuador. The agent was quick to help me at first but the one thing I should have checked was the price of the flights. I did find it odd that I was booked with Air Canada, flying from YYC to Toronto to Bogoto then to Quito. I have traveled to South America before and I always travel through the US. Anyways, my flights cost just a hair under $1900 round trip. When I checked online for flights, there was one as low as $650.... When I arrived with my group in Ecudaor, I bumped into numerous people from CALGARY OF ALL PLACES! It was incredible (different story) but they told me they booked their flights for $850.... So, I paid over 200% more than I likely should have. Do I deserve it? Yes. I should have done my due diligence. BUT, I expect my agents to do everything they can to provide me with options on best pricing for affordability and comfort so I can choose. I also was asked by my agent to check to see if I need a visa to travel through Colombia. This is something I expect my agent to tell me, not the other way around. No, you do not need a visa to travel through or to Colombia if you are staying under 90 days. It's back to the drawing board for me.

Negative experience: If you want to leave messages speak with a agent who was to call you back and never does!! This is your travel agent !! No Customer service at all.

Positive experience: Was greeted with a friendly smile but they do not do visa applications unfortunately. This needs to be updated on their website and on their Google business pages. Visa applications are not a part of their service offerings here.

Negative experience: Terrible customer service. Went in to get some help with planning our Honeymoon. The response "Take a brochure, and get some ideas." We said we had some ideas and needed help. Wouldn't even turn around from the desk to face us. If you want to feel unwelcome and that your business/money is worthless to them, feel free to try them out. If I could give zero stars, I would.

Fantastic experience: I was desperately looking for a reliable travel agent and my girlfriend told me to call Travel Far and Beyond. I spoke to Janiz and she is one of a kind, she treats you like you are one of her family. During the pandemic and with all the rules, Janiz is an extraordinary great adviser, she gives you all the details and updates, even a day before your flights she’ll call you and reminds you make sure you got everything you need to fly. She’s amazing! I booked a flights for my mom and I for Philippines in August 1, 2021. Unfortunately the day of our flight was cancelled due to my mom emergency hospitalized. A day after that Janiz immediately called the airlines and was refund my money back into my credit card. I highly recommend Janiz Lau from Travel Far and Beyond. Calgary Alberta You won’t disappoint.
