Beforeifly Travel Centre

Negative experience: I recently attempted to book three tickets to Dubai with George at Beforeifly Upperjames, but I was taken aback when he informed me that he was too busy with something he deemed more important to assist me. If you’re occupied, it’s essential to either ask the customer to wait or suggest they return at another time. It’s unprofessional to simply tell a passenger that you can’t assist them. If you're unable to help customers book tickets, it might be better to reconsider keeping the place open for customers. This is coming from a person who worked in reservations for a prominent Airline.

Fantastic experience: My sister and I planned our elderly parents trip to Greece with George of Beforeifly Travel Centre. George provided them with excellent customer service. Negative experience: I booked a flight with George and I was extremely disappointed with the service. It was very hard to get in touch with him he would take several days to answer emails and was not easy to talk too. When I had trouble reaching him by email I would try to call him and had the same issue. I called him once 4 times in the middle of his work day and he never answered let alone returned my call. I was told by friends to book with him so I tried it out, but I will not be returning and neither will my family and friends.

Fantastic experience: Our family works with Maria each time we fly overseas. She is so friendly and is very detailed oriented. She has been so great at booking travel for my senior parents...we feel so safe booking with her because of her knowledge and professionalism. Thank you Maria for all that you do!!

Negative experience: Service was good until recently. The whole phone call I had with George on March 13th seemed extremely rushed due to impatience on his part. I asked George to change the last name on the invoice to match my ID so I wouldn’t have an issue boarding my bus from the airport. He said it would be fine but he would change it. I hang up the phone thinking everything is fine, the voucher says I need a valid photo ID with the voucher. I call back to correct George and he snaps at me saying I need to give him a couple minutes to send me the corrected invoice. Raising your voice is not how you treat a paying a customer. I still haven’t received those updated invoices. I had to get them updated by the touring agency for George proving to be incompetent this time around. Will make sure not to book with this company again.

Fantastic experience: We had an excellent experience with George. When we went to see him the first time, we didn't know where we wanted to go. He listened to what we were looking for and suggested a Cruise of the Greek Islands. He suggested we stay in Athens for a couple of nights before the cruise and made arrangements for our taxi and our day trip. The service was impeccable. His suggestions as to what to see in Athens and what to see on all the islands we visited were excellent. We had a spectacular time! He even called us when we returned to see how the trip went. We will most definitely book our next trip through him.

Fantastic experience: Great service by George at Beforeifly Hamilton. Normally we do all of our booking online direct. This time we decided to go through George who provided great service in helping us select our destination. While on vacation we had an emergency and needed to get back early. George went out of his way and was instrumental in my family securing a same day flight in time of need. We were glad we used a travel agency and would recommend Beforeifly to anyone looking to book a vacation with people who care.

Fantastic experience: Located beside Dennigers on Upper James this travel agency has a great agent Marlene. Marlene bent over backwards going the extra mile helping 4 of us get the best deal for the UK. Multiple problems occured with cancellations by the airline who then offered a refund. The issue was trying to navigate through Air Transats system to submit for the refund. Marlene took this on for us which saved us much frustration and time. Thank you Marlene.
