Negative experience: Assurance Voyage CAA whose insurer is Orion and the claims manager is Globalexcel service: it's useless. I could tell a long story, but to keep it short, no support from the staff to refer us to a clinic, we are left to fend for ourselves and after making several attempts to see a doctor, no clinic or hospital in Victoria Texas knows this company and refuses to bill the insurance company directly!!! The insurance company representatives don't even want to contact the clinic to make an agreement. What service. We get travel insurance to have peace of mind and especially to have assistance when things go wrong.

Positive experience: Excellent service from our travel advisor. However, a downside is the new club policy which will now charge a fee of $45 per person for any trip not offered by the club. As far as I know, I still pay nearly $100 a year to be a member of CAA. THIS RAISES QUESTIONS!!!!!!

Fantastic experience: Avoir une carte CAA est le meilleur moyen d'être en sécurité, j'ai déjà eu une crevaison ça a été réparé sur place, il change la batterie sur place si elle est finie, en plus d'autres services: remorquage, ouvrir porte si barrée par erreur etc. Excellent service à chaque fois leur carte n'est pas dispendieuse pour les services qu'on nous donne quand on en a besoin, je l'ai depuis une dizaine d'année. Vous ne le regretterai pas et vous vous sentirez toujours en sécurité peut importe où vous serai.

Positive experience: I went to cancel a CAA card that had been fraudulently renewed. They apply security rules when canceling a card, however, they made the mistake of renewing a CAA card on an expired MBNA credit card. On their part, MBNA made the error of accepting the charge and generating a bill by adding 84¢ in fees on an expired card (which legally should not have received any purchases). Both (CAA and MBNA) were negligent in allowing a shady transaction that encourages fraud. It does not surprise me from MBNA, who frequently take actions on the edge of legality in order to extort their clients, but I am surprised by CAA, who are usually accustomed to giving advice to prevent fraud. So: If you have an MBNA credit card, know that the card remains valid even several months after the expiration date.
